June‘s work combines traditional Chinese calligraphy with contemporary drawing and painting, using mixed media in an experimental and playful way. She is interested in how calligraphy can move beyond written language and become a visual form. Through layering, mark-making, and freehand brushwork, she explores rhythm, movement, and the feeling of writing rather than its literal meaning. Her practice is intuitive and hands-on, often guided by curiosity and experimentation. By blending traditional elements with contemporary approaches, her work reflects a personal way of engaging with culture, memory, and everyday experience.​
